Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

06:09:00   Curriculum Subcommittee

Purpose: The Curriculum Subcommittee will receive and review proposed curriculum changes to include course additions/deletions, changes to existing programs, and proposals for new academic programs. 

Membership:

  1. Director of Academic/Instructional Technology, Non-voting member
  2. Director of Center for Students with Disabilities, Non-voting member
  3. Faculty (14) – Term of service will be two years:

a. Faculty (2): Elected by Faculty in the Advanced Technologies Division

b. Faculty (1): Elected by Faculty in the Health-Related Professions Division

c. Faculty (1): Elected by Faculty in the Nursing Division

d. Faculty (2): Elected by Faculty in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Division

e. Faculty (2): Elected by Faculty in the Business Technologies Division

f. Faculty (2): Elected by Faculty in the Humanities Division

g. Faculty (2): Elected by Faculty in the Mathematics Division

h. Faculty (2): Elected by Faculty in the Science Division

     4.  Faculty Member on the Subcommittee elected by the Subcommittee members, Chair

     5   Librarian (1), Non-voting Member, Appointed by the President

     6.  Student (1): Designated by the Vice President for Student Affairs

     7.  Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ex Officio
